On Thursday morning, March 23, 2023, from 09:00 a.m. at the White Building, Chamcar Mon State Palace, the Constitutional Council held a plenary session under the high chairmanship of H.E. Mr. Kittinitekorsalbandit IM Chhun Lim, President of the Constitutional Council, to examine and rule on the request from H.E. Mr. Kittinitekorsalbandit SIM Ka, Acting President of the Senate, aiming to control the constitutionality of the amendment of articles 2, 7, 8, 29, 39, 42, 57, 60, 72 and 84 of the internal rules and regulations of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Result: The Constitutional Council decided unanimously by 09 votes of its whole members that the amendment of articles 2, 7, 8, 29, 39, 42, 57, 60, 72 and 84 of the internal rules and regulations of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, is in conformity with the Constitution.
