On Friday, August 19, 2022, H.E. Mr. Kittinitekorsalbandit IM Chhun Lim, President of the Constitutional Council, and Lok Chumteav his spouse leading a delegation of the Constitutional Council, and H.E. Mr. PRUM Sokha, Minister of Civil Service leading a delegation of his Ministry, brought donations including husked rice, instant noodles, canned fish, bottled drinking water, tea, sugar powder, fish sauce, soy sauce, cooking oil, salt, sodium glutamate, preserved soy bean, salted turnip, the four necessities for bonzes (clothing, food, dwelling and medicine) and a collection of 80 volumes of Atthakatha (explanation of the Buddhist canon) amounting to a sum of 31,900,000 (thirty-one million nine hundred thousand riels only) riels to the bonzes observing rains retreat in Krakor, Pacha and Chroy Thmor pagodas in Kratie city, Kratie province, and also to the religious men and women and devoted young people of the three pagodas. It should be noted that this event took place in the presence of His Excellency the Chairman of the Kratie Provincial Council, His Excellency the Governor of the Kratie Province and Their Excellencies, Lok Chumteav, Members of the Provincial Council, the Vice-Governors of the province, the Governor of Kratie City, civil servants in Kratie province, laymen, nuns as well as villagers in the vicinity of the three pagodas.
