On Thursday morning, November 23, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. at the White Building, Chamcar Mon State Palace, the Constitutional Council held a plenary session under the high chairmanship of H.E. Mr. Kittinitekorsalbandit IM Chhun Lim, President of the Constitutional Council, to examine and rule on the request of Samdech Moha Rotsapheathikathipadei KHUON Sudary, President of the National Assembly, aiming to control the constitutionality of the Amendment of Article 4 (New), Article 6 New (Two), and Article 29 (New) of the Internal Rules and Regulations of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The result: the Constitutional Council decided unanimously that the Amendment of Article 4 (New), Article 6 New (Two), and Article 29 (New) of the Internal Rules and Regulations of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia adopted by the National Assembly on November 16, 2023 in the 1st session of its 7th legislature, is in conformity with the Constitution.
