On Monday afternoon, October 23, 2023, at the conference hall of the Constitutional Council, White Building, Chamcar Mon State Palace, H.E. Mr. Kittinitekorsalbandit IM Chhun Lim, President of the Constitutional Council, heard the government representatives, led by H.E. Mr. MAO Havanall, Minister in charge of the Secretariat of State for Civil Aviation, in their clarifications on the Law on the Establishment of the Secretariat of State for Civil Aviation, after the Constitutional Council received on October 18, 2023, a request of Samdech Moha Rotsapheathikathipadei KHUON Sudary, President of the National Assembly, aiming to control the constitutionality of the Law on the Establishment of the Secretariat of State for Civil Aviation. The invitation of the relevant stakeholders to provide clarifications is provided for by Article 21 of the Law on the Organization and Functioning of the Constitutional Council, stipulating that in case of necessity, the Constitutional Council has the right to request clarifications or documents from the institutions concerned.
