On Wednesday morning, October 11, 2023, H.E. Mr. Kittinitekorsalbandit IM Chhun Lim, President of the Constitutional Council, and his spouse, accompanied by Officials of the General Secretariat of the Constitutional Council, celebrated the twelfth day of Kan Ben Festival at Santhor Vong (also known as Wat Kratie Krong), in Kratie City, Kratie Province, and brought donations including husked rice, instant noodles, canned fish, bottled drinking water, tea, sugar powder, fish sauce, soy sauce, cooking oil, salt, sodium glutamate, preserved soy bean, salted turnip, the four necessities for bonzes (clothing, food, dwelling and medicine) to the bonzes observing rains retreat and also the religious men and women and devoted young people of the pagoda. It should be noted that this event took place in the presence of His Excellency Governor of the Province, Vice-Governors of the province, civil servants in the province, laymen, nuns as well as villagers in the vicinity of the pagoda.
